Another way to keep your attendees engaged in meeting attendance is offering training opportunities to help grow skills. Example trainings can include:
- Specific model trainings – if you adopt a specific coalition or prevention model as the foundation for your group those organizations will often have trainings you can conduct on a local level to educate your members on how the model works.
- Skill based training – help your members develop their skills that will benefit the coalition. Some skills can include public speaking, presenting, how to read/review sharp surveys, how to network, how to be an advocate for change etc.
