Conduct key interviews

    Using the 5 dimensions of readiness assessment, use the following scale to assign a number value to the readiness level of each dimension for each survey or interview on the scoring sheet.
    1. No awareness (1)
    2. Denial/Resistance (1.5)
    3. Vague Awareness – understand it’s an issue but don’t know about resources (2)
    4. Preplanning – limited knowledge of the issue and limited resources (2.5)
    5. Preparation – most have heard about the issue and know there are some resources (3)
    6. Initiation – know the issue, know resources, feel a responsibility (3.5)
    7. Stabilization – more than a basic knowledge of issue, know resources, engage their time/support of issue (4)
    8. Expansion/Confirmation – leadership play a key role in expanding/improving efforts, advocate for issue and recruit engagement (4.5)
    9. Community Ownership – Deep knowledge of issue, leadership support, community engagement, diversified resources and funding secured (5)
