Your coalition core workgroup can be seen as the “movers” of your prevention work. The core workgroup should consist of 4-7 people and fill the following roles. Members can take on more than one responsibility as needed. The main roles are:
- Lead Coordinator (Prevention specialist, main decision maker/approver)
- Marketing Coordinator (Messaging and creative)
- Events/PR Coordinator (Communication and event planning)
- Financial Coordinator (Budgeting and funding)
- Community Coordinator (Community member outreach and support)
