Alternatively, if a community partner has approached YOU with a willingness to be involved your agency partner can always assist in creating tailored messaging for the partnership. It can be as simple as adding a logo to a piece of existing collateral or it could be coming up with a new message that involves the business more directly such as an artwork install, activation, or co-sponsorship. It does not have to be a clear connection to prevention. It could be a local dry cleaner who had a personal connection and would like to help. Agencies can get creative in tying a cause to a business. What do dry cleaners and prescription misuse have in common? How can this be beneficial? Should you continue with the partnership? The answer is always YES! We can find a way.

Partnerships to Always Consider

With prevention science a lot of times it makes sense to start the work early and give clear messaging to developing brains. Being present in schools, after-school or rec centers, pediatrician offices, or local high-traffic areas are the best way to reach and create recognition among youth & parents.
If your target audience is adults, consider places they frequent such as grocery stores, community employers, hospitals or clinics.
