There are different levels of legislative support. The levels are as follows:

  • Local/City legislative support can be started in city councils, school board meetings, and large community events. You can find who is on your city council and city government by visiting your city’s website or contacting your local city hall.
  • Regional/ county legislative support includes county councils, county education board meetings and county wide events.
  • Utah State resources include the legislative branch – state senate & house of representatives – and Executive branch, along with state organizations such as a health department & state school board. State government officials can be found on the state website (https://www.utah.gov/index.html )
  • Federal resources would include congress, senate, presidential, along with federal agencies such as the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration), Department of Education, Department of Health & Human Services, etc.
